The Florence museum’s collections from the fourteenth century and the Renaissance contain some of the world’s best-known masterpieces. The Gallery is situated on the top floor of the large building designed by Giorgio Vasari. It was founded by Grand-Duke Francesco I and subsequently added to by the Medici family. It was rearranged and expanded by the Lorraine dynasty and finally by the State of Italy.

The Contini Bonacossi collection and the Prints and Drawings of the Uffizi are also on display.
Booking early, you will be also able to visit the Vasarian Corridor. Built in 1565, it connects the museum to the renowned Palazzo Vecchio and Pitti.
