Antonio Albanese in Florence with the Brunelleschi

Antonio Albanese in Florence is the landing point of a highly successful tour, able to fill theaters all over Italy, through which the comedian from Lecco reads modern times using a single red thread, that of humanity, narrated by characters who have become a symbol of nowdays. It is now easy to find neighbours, friends and family in his dialogues, behaviors and thoughts over the top of  “Epifanio”, “L’Ottimista”, “Il Sommelier”, “Alex Drastico”, “Perego” and “Cetto La Qualunque”. Antonio Albanese in Florence presents us different masks, built during the time by observing the Italians’ vices and virtues, feelings, fears, obsessions, alienation, but also hope.

The humour of Antonio Albanese meets Brunelleschi’s passion in Florence

Antonio Albanese’s performance in Florence was born at a particularly moment for the actor, director and Italian writer. After the commitments to “Che tempo che fa” and the great success of the film “Qualunquemente,” he continues to pursue with excellent results a work, daughter of his vitriolic comedy, through which he investigates with honesty merits and defects of today’s society. The work is directed by Giampiero Solari and written by the latter with Piero Guerrera and Enzo Santin.  Texts by Michele Serra and Antonio Albanese. “I wish that after my show everyone felt a little less alone, a little happier, a little stronger, I would like to embrace them all. Laughter is a hug, a need that there will always be”, in these words we find one of the objectives pursued by Antonio Albanese in Florence in “Personaggi”.
