The Boboli Garden is a fascinating historic park in the centre of Florence, immediately behind the famous Pitti Palace. It was built between the 15^th and 16^th century on an area of 45,000 square meters, becoming in the course of time a residence of the Medici family, of Lorraine and of Savoia. Boboli Garden, a fable of other times

The Boboli Garden is part of the association “Grandi Giardini Italiani”, a brand that encompasses all the wonderful gardens that can be visited in Italy. The name, most likely, comes from that of the Borgolo family, the first owner of the land where the garden will later be built. Opening Hours from Monday to Sunday:

8.15 am – 4.30 pm in November, December, January, February
8.15 am – 5.30 pm in March (6.30 pm when Daylight Saving Time starts)
8.15 am – 6.30 pm in April, May, September, October
8.15 pm – 5.30 pm in October (when Daylight Saving Time ends)
8.15 am – 6.50 pm in June, July, August

The last admission is always half an hour before the closing time.

Closed: first and last Monday of each month, 1 January, 1 May, 25 December.

The ticket also includes access to the Porcelain Museum and the Bardini Garden.
