Things to See and Do in Florence Italy

Capucci Museum in Florence

July 17, 2013

We continue our journey through the museums and places of fashion with the Capucci Museum in Florence, located in seventeenth-century Villa Bardini, on the Costa San Giorgio 2, on the left bank of the Arno, between Fort Belvedere and the museum complex of the Pitti Palace. The museum is dedicated to the activity of the designer Roberto Capucci and its sculpture-dresses made in occasion of the Venice Biennale of 1995, which originally were not intended to be worn. Initially the exhibition was temporary but given the enormous success of public it was turned into a permanent display. We suggest a visit to the museum during your next holiday in Florence and a lovely stay at the Hotel Brunelleschi, ideal starting point for a stay of fashion and shopping.
