Our chef Rocco de Santis will participate at the Festa a Vico 2018 organized by chef Gennaro Esposito scheduled from Sunday 3 to Tuesday 5 June in Vico Equense.
An important choice that will see then the chef of the Restaurant Santa Elisabetta and Osteria Pagliazza of Florence once again on the front line in events of great social commitment.
In this case, the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organizations ‘ALTS’ (Breast Cancer Fighting Association), ‘Fondazione PRO Benessere al maschile’, ‘Istituto Comprensivo Costiero Vico Equense’, ‘Noi con Voi per le MICI’, ‘Parrocchia SS. Ciro e Giovanni’, ‘Santobono – Hospital Supporters and Santobono Onlus’.
The “Festa a Vico 2018” and, in particular, the dinner on Sunday 3 June, was created with the intention of celebrating fifty years of ‘Pizza a Metro – The University of Pizza’, historical and iconic pizzeria in Vico Equense through a special dinner.
In fact, the protagonists will be about 50 starred chefs coming from every part of Italy and especially from Campania region. Together with the organizer of the event Gennaro Esposito it will also be Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Rosanna Marziale, Graziano Caccioppoli, Domenico Iavarone.
And, of course, our Rocco de Santis, together with the Hotel Brunelleschi, enthusiastic about contributing to the projects of the non-profit organizations.
The chefs will cook at the ‘Università della Pizza’ and they will be divided into brigades in such a way as to animate even more through a real competition an evening that promises to be full of surprises.
