June 1, 2010

Maybe you have seen a picture in some postcards or calendars across the globe and wondered about this beautiful Italian landscape: yes, it is Chianti, gentle hills covered with fields of vineyards and olive groves in Tuscany.

Often considered the most famous wine of the world, Chianti extends over the provinces of Florence and Siena, covering all this area and further beyond.

Chianti is a red wine, strong and bold, best served from a red wine glass.; typical flavors of Chianti bouquet include cherry, strawberry, spice, almonds, tobacco, vanilla and coffee.
