Da Vinci Experience Florence is the new incredible multimedia exhibition that can be visited at Santo Stefano al Ponte in Piazza Santo Stefano. Enjoy this special occasion to discover the Italian genius of the Renaissance in its famous female portraits, in the big engineering machines, codes and drawings.
Immerse yourself in the universe of Leonardo: his ideas and his grandiose works in this new multimedia event at Santo Stefano al Ponte. On this trip into the Da Vinci Experience Florence, you will be accompanied in a story featuring a vibrant soundtrack in Dolby surround, made by hundreds of high-definition digitized images of Leonardo’s works and full HD video inserts.
The exhibition path is enriched by numerous models of Leonardo Da Vinci machines – in size and scale – reproduced meticulously on original designs; among them, with an absolutely impressive impact, the nine-meter wing for human flight suspended in the centre of the nave.
In the teaching area are shown the valuable anastatic reproductions of the Genius codes and drawings, masterpieces unique in their kind.
Moreover, you can also live a 3D virtual reality experience with the Oculus that allows you to enter the tank and interact with its mechanisms, to sail with the boat on pallets, to admire the flight over the Florentine landscape of the aerial screw and ornithopter.
