Have you ever thought of dining in an old Byzantine tower in Florence? Restaurant Santa Elisabetta will make you live an incredible experience in the heart of the historical centre, on the first floor of the Byzantine tower of Pagliazza, the oldest edifice still standing in the historic centre of Florence, also enrolled in the register of the Florentine historic buildings. In the 12th century it was used as a women’s prison, that’s why the name “Pagliazza” that derives just from the straw bedding of the prisoners. It is precisely here that we invite you to enjoy the starred chef‘s tasting menu Rocco de Santis made in collaboration with the farm Ca’ del Bosco on Saturday 11 and 25 November 2017. The menu is also available in preview on Friday 10th and November 24th.
