For the summer, Piazza Santa Elisabetta, in front of the Hotel Brunelleschi, comes alive for spending pleasant evenings and tasty dinners. In the terrace of the Osteria della Pagliazza, you can enjoy all the most typical dishes of Tuscan tradition by candlelight. The Osteria is daily open from 12:30 a.m. to 02:30 p.m. and from 07:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Protagonists of these evenings will be fresh and genuine local products, selected with care and attention by Chef Simone Bertaccini.
Enjoy dinners in the open air to Florence in the heart of the historic centre
The menu of the Osteria della Pagliazza includes the oldest dishes of the traditional Tuscan folk, as they were prepared one time. There is a wide range of choice, from panzanella of bread and vegetables to the ribollita of black cabbage and bread, from rabbit cacciatore style to the cut of beef to desserts prepared by our expert pastry chef. To end the evening, we also suggest you a tasting of three flavours of ice cream whipped by our chef at a good price. We want to delight you and make you discover the work of chef Simone Bertaccini, which was part of the Italian Team World Champion Gelato – SIGEP 2009.
