For the occasion, in the morning of Easter, we suggest you to assist to the outbreak of the Chariot of Fire and the flight of the dove, one of the oldest Florentine culture traditions that dates back to the Crusades and it is held in Piazza Duomo, a few steps from our restaurant. The dove is a small rocket which looks like a white pigeon with an olive branch in its beak, which after being lit with the holy fire along a guide triggers the fireworks places all around the brindellone (the wagon). According to the popular custom, the dove triggered inside the Cathedral of Florence has to make the journey to the brindellone and then go back until the area of the larger choir in the church itself. If it will be different the next crop in the fields will not give good results.
