The Hotel Brunelleschi is a 4-star property in the heart of Florence located in Via de’ Calzaiuoli and featuring a Byzantine semicircular tower overlooking a lovely tiny square. The hotel is close to Palazzo Strozzi and to the most famous town monuments and museums.
Palazzo Strozzi in Florence will host the exhibition “Bronzino, pittore e poeta alla corte dei Medici” (“Bronzino, painter and poet at the Medici court”) with paintings coming from museums in Florence and all over the world. Bronzino (1503-1572) worked as a painter and poet in Florence at the court of the Medici family.
The works of this exhibition come from the Uffizi Gallery and from churches and other museums in Florence, but also from the Metropolitan in New York and the Louvre in Paris as well as from Budapest and Vienna. Together with the paintings by Bronzino, who expressed the modernity of the Counter Reformation, you will also admire works by Jacopo “Pontormo” and by Allori.
