The exhibition “The Thirties. The Arts in Italy Beyond Fascism” takes place in Florence from 22 September 2012 to 27 January 2013 at Palazzo Strozzi. An event that brings together the works of a particular period as that of fascism, which was present in a variety of styles and trends, from classicism to Futurism, from Expressionism to abstract art, from monumental art to the painting for living room. At the exhibition on the Thirties in Florence it will be exhibited numerous works (99 paintings, 17 sculptures, 20 design objects) of about forty artists of the period such as Mario Sironi, Giorgio de Chirico, Alberto Savinio, Achille Funi, Carlo Carrà, Arturo Nathan, Achille Lega, Ottone Rosai, Ardengo Soffici, Giorgio Morandi, Ram, Thayaht, Antonio Donghi, Marino Marini, Renato Guttuso, Carlo Levi, Filippo de Pisis, Scipione, Antonio Maraini, Lucio Fontana. The exhibition will be open every day from 9 to 20 and with evening opening on Thursday, from 9 to 23. The cost of the ticket is 10.00 euros.
