The topics during the conferences are very varied. You will hear about Henry James and other foreigners who lived in Bellosguardo between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries or Dostoevsky, who stayed in Florence for a couple of years completing the writing of his masterpiece “The Idiot”. And of course not forgetting the famous Florentine illustrious: Dante, Machiavelli, Vasari, Guicciardini, Leonardo da Vinci. You will discover Florence’s real fortune, the city of merchants and contractors. Also “Dark tourism” passionate will be attracted by the story of death penalty in Florence or a dissertation on crime and justice in the town of Giglio.
