Gardens of Florence

Enjoy e relax moment in the incredible gardens of Florence and enjoy incredible views over the city.

Gardens and parks in Florence are places where history and nature meet, giving to the visitor’s eyes enchanted glimpses embedded in places full of charm: we are literally talking about open-air museums where to enjoy an explosion of colours thanks to the incredible flowers, or where it is possible to take a break from summer heat in the shadows of the elegant cypresses.

The city centre does not offer a lot of opportunities to enjoy a relaxing moment during an intensive day around Florence: the squares you can find in front of the churches are a handy solution, but cannot compete with the charme and beauty of the Florentine gardens.

Brunelleschi Hotel’s beautiful location will allow you to visit both the wonders of the centre and the main gardens of Florence, only 1 Km away from our hotel.

Boboli Gardens (Giardino di Boboli) are one of the main parks of Florence and represent a splendid Italian garden and one of the first example of monumental gardens in history: Boboli Gardens were founded by the Medici and represented a real standard for the development of gardens in all the European courts.

Located right behind Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens will welcome you with wonderful fountains, precious sculptures and natural architectures and the fascinating paths will carry you inside the court life.

On the left side of the Arno river it is possible to visit Bardini Garden (Giardino Bardini), considered by many as one of the most beautiful gardens in Florence: this wonderful renaissance garden will give you an incredible panoramic view over the city, surrounded by beautiful flowers, fountains and baroque staircases.

Charm and peace are on the main characteristics of Rose Garden (Giardino delle Rose) from where you will enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramas of Florence: from this incredible place, you will have a unique view of the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio tower and Giotto’s Campanile. Moreover, the garden also hostes an incredible collection of roses with more than 300 species.

Once back to the Hotel, after a day spent walking around the beautiful gardens of Florence, you will be able to relax in our exclusive and elegant suites and enjoy a holyday full of art, culture, nature and charme.
