It is just started the exhibition on Michelangelo and the twentieth century at Casa Buonarroti in Florence, which will be open until 20 October 2014 for the 450th anniversary of the famous artist’s death.
The exhibition was conceived as an event that takes place in two locations: the first at the Casa Buonarrroti in Florence and the second at the Galleria Civica di Modena.
The exhibition in Florence is structured on two main thematic groups: the centennial of the birth and death of the artist (1964 and 1975) and the presence of Michelangelo in the art, architecture, design and in the fitting of the past century.
The exhibition brings together works by Gabriele D’Annunzio, Tano Festa, Renato Guttuso, Le Corbusier, Leoncillo Leonardi, Pericle Fazzini, Vassily Kandinsky, Henri Matisse, Giovanni Michelucci, Henry Moore, Luigi Moretti, Giulio Paolini, Paolo Portoghesi, Antonietta Raphaël, Mario Sironi, Francesco Somaini, Giuseppe Terragni, Robert Venturi, Bruno Zevi. Besides the works of art will be present videos, audio, virtual reconstructions, digital concept maps.

Closed on Tuesdays and on 15th August.
