A novelty in the menu of the restaurant in Florence dedicated to typical Tuscan cuisine
Spring brings a wave of novelties in the menu of our osteria in Florence. The Osteria della Pagliazza is located on the ground floor of the charming Byzantine tower Pagliazza, inside the Hotel Brunelleschi, in the characteristic piazzetta Santa Elisabetta, hidden among the streets of the historic centre of the city: around the corner there is Via de’ Calzaiuoli, Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Enjoy this corner of relax in the heart of the historic centre. If weather conditions allow it is available a dehors in the square or alternatively the historic interior room among the stone walls of one of the oldest constructions in Florence, entered in the register of historic buildings in Florence.
The new chef of the Osteria in Florence
With the announcement of the new menu at the osteria in Florence we want to welcome the new chef of the Hotel Brunelleschi, the young and talented Rocco De Santis. Chef from Salerno, born in 1979 with an extensive resume that includes collaborations with international and renowned Italian and French chefs among which the Italian master Gennaro Esposito, who has obtained two Michelin stars.
The menu proposals of the Osteria della Pagliazza in Florence
The Osteria della Pagliazza is open daily for lunch and dinner from 12:30 to 14:30 and from 19:30 to 22:30.
Just to mention a few dishes on the menu: among the starters there is a Tasting of meats and artisan cheeses, among the first courses there are Tortelli pasta stuffed with Mugello potatoes, spinach and traditional Peposo, among the main courses there is a Chicken in sauce chasseur and among the desserts there is the Tirami-south with macaroons.
We propose you the tasting menu of the Pagliazza at € 45,00 per person which includes four courses: starters, first course, main course, dessert, espresso coffee and sweets by Chef. Drinks not included.
