Night opening of the museums: Summer 2016 Florence
During your next trip to Florence, you can take advantage of numerous initiatives that will allow you to enjoy the museums even in the summer evenings. In particular, there are two programs that will cheer the Summer 2016 in the city: Uffizi_Live and Summer at the Bargello.
Up to 27th September 2016, the summer festival entitled Uffizilive offers a calendar of events of music, theatre, dance and performance of the most different performing arts, specifically related for the topic or the suggestion, to works of art in the Gallery exhibition.
Every summer Tuesday from 19 to 22, in the evocative setting of the Uffizi, exceptionally open in the evening with the normal ticket of the museum entrance, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy not only the works of art in the collection but also a very wide range of “other” artistic proposals ranging from reference works and more traditional forms of expression of the different performing arts to the more contemporary, with a special attention paid to the small artistic realities of the territory and to the young.
The closing operation of the Gallery will start at 21:35.

In the courtyard of the National Museum of the Bargello in Florence it is held instead the exhibition Summer in the Bargello. Twenty evenings that will end in July and that they will see on stage, among others, the actors Gabriele Lavia, Sandro Lombardi and David Riondino and the dancers of the Florence Dance Festival, in addition to the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina. The shows are also held in wet weather.
