I was born in Florence and I live here with my family. I have a diploma in tourism. I attended the Technical Institute for Tourism of Florence. Once left school I worked for six years in various companies as a secretary in the administration and, by chance, towards the age of 25, I found myself doing a volunteer internship at the Savoy Hotel in Piazza della Repubblica in Florence, then I came to the Hotel Brunelleschi and I have been here for 24 years.
I really like my job. The contact with the guest is always a new experience for me. You find out the world through the stories and experiences of travellers. Everyone has a different story to tell. With some of them, over the years, it is born a real friendship.
I am a receptionist and so I deal with check-in, check-out and customer service. I try, together with my colleagues, to satisfy any request. The guest must always be in the spotlight, satisfied and helped in every need. I like to think I can make special your stay.
The Hotel Brunelleschi is a pearl in the centre of Florence, it is a happy island in a historic centre full of history and art. To those coming from different realities, more modern, it is sometimes difficult to understand. My colleagues and I try to go with the client and guide him to the discovery of this fascinating reality.
With the various shifts, my typical working day varies daily. In my free time I like to take care of my family (my son and my husband) and my house. When I can, I like to walk alone or with friends, reading and hanging out with friends and enjoy this amazing city.
Florence is a unique destination in the world, no doubt to visit at least once in life. It is not a hit-and-run cities. You must spend at least a few days to discover the beauties of the art and get lost among the different streets and neighbourhoods of the city, walking aimlessly and relax off the main tourist tracks.
