Brunelleschi Hotel is among the 500 World’s Best Hotels 2021 for Travel + Leisure.
The Brunelleschi Hotel has been recognized as one of the world’s most exclusive hotels by Travel + Leisure T + L 500. Drawing on the Travel + Leisure 2020 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey results, Travel + Leisure has selected the 500 best hotels around the world by naming them to this year’s T+L 500 list. Very few properties are chosen for their luxurious style, charm, central location, panoramic view, excellent service and gourmet restaurant. Among these, the Brunelleschi Hotel has been included thanks to those unique features that make it truly special: in addition to being luxurious and full of charm, it offers exclusive suites with breathtaking views of Brunelleschi’s dome, an intimate 2-star Michelin gourmet restaurant, a privileged location a few steps from the Cathedral and, unique in the world, the oldest Byzantine tower in Florence embedded in its facade.
The Brunelleschi Hotel was included by Travel + Leisure in the “2020 World’s Best Awards” last July and is featured among Florence’s “Top 5” specifically for its unique characteristics: its elegance; the particularity of the Byzantine tower embedded in its façade; the Santa Elisabetta Restaurant, recently awarded its second Michelin star; its location in a quiet square a few steps from the Cathedral and above all for the attentive, kind and very helpful staff.
Each year, Travel + Leisure (www.travelandleisure.com) readers, America’s most famous travel magazine with a readership of about 8.1 million, share their views on destinations, urban hotels, resorts and more through the World’s Best Awards poll. Hotels are evaluated by location, type, services, restaurant and overall value. On the basis of the previous year’s poll results, the 500 best hotels in the world are included in the annual T + L 500 list. The Travel + Leisure 2021 T+L 500 list is featured in the March issue of Travel + Leisure, on newsstands February 19. Each annual award is a reference point for the numerous readers and the properties featured in the list, divided into eight geographical regions, represent a reliable and indispensable source of information for millions of experienced, demanding, sophisticated travelers, attentive to every little detail, who are inspired and guided by the magazine in organizing their next trip, anywhere and at any time.
“We are really proud of this prestigious recognition and we dedicate it first of all to our Customers, whom we deeply thank for the trust they have been giving our hotel for years. Also, special thanks certainly go to the precious and irreplaceable Brunelleschi Team and to our Owners, who have always believed in our hospitality vision, which is so special that it has allowed us to achieve some of the most coveted goals “, says General Manager Claudio Catani.
Over the years, the Brunelleschi Hotel has received numerous awards including, last May, the “Top Luxury Boutique Hotel in Europe” award from Luxury Travel Advisor, the only Italian hotel to have won at European level, and last October the “Readers’ Choice Award” by Condé Nast Traveler, as one of the “Top 10 Hotels in Florence”. In 2015 Luxury Travel Advisor also awarded the General Manager Claudio Catani as “Top General Manager of the Year Worldwide“.
