Choosing the best view of Florence is a really difficult activity: the incredible position of the city, in the middle of the hills, gives the possibility to admire the centre of Florence from a lot of different locations.

It does not matter from where your eyes reach the silhouette of the city: Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, regardless of which angle you look at it. Admiring Florence from above, though, you will live a unique and incredible experience.

In and around Florence there are a lot of panoramic views that allow you to see the city from a different perspective and all the wonders of the city in one single picture.

In order to enjoy such an experience, a little fatigue will be required, but it will be well worth the effort: after 400 steps, in fact, you will reach the top of the Giotto’s Campanile, from where you will have a unique view of the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore and Piazza Duomo.

In Piazza del Duomo you will have also the possibility to climb the 130 meters of Santa Maria del Fiore and reach the top of one the most incredible domes ever built: the ascent of the 400 steps will be softened by the incredible Vasari frescoes and, once arrived, you will admire from a privileged place the structure of the dome designed by Brunelleschi and you will be able to enjoy all the beauty of Florence from a magic perspective.

Another panoramic point is the Arnolfo Tower, the tower of Palazzo Vecchio from where you will have a 360° vision on the centre of Florence and in particular on the Piazza del Duomo complex.

Not too far from the centre there are Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte: from both the locations you will enjoy a great view from the hills that surround Florence.

Last but not the least, Pagliazza Tower is considered as one of the oldest building of Florence: this tower is part of Hotel Brunelleschi and will allow you to experience all the charm of the city, enjoying great views directly from our suites.
