The tasting takes place at the Tower Bar of the hotel, in Piazza Santa Elisabetta, inside the ancient Tower of Pagliazza: a scenic landscape that will make this experience even more memorable.

A wine tasting held by the Sommelier of Santa Elisabetta Restaurant lasts one hour.

Three different types of tastings are available.

White wines of Central Tuscany (minimum 4 people, 60,00 euro per person):

– Monterotondo, Sassogrosso Malvasia del Chianti, 2019
– Fattoria di Petreto, Podere Sassaie (Sauvignon, Semillon), 2015
– Castello Monsanto, Chardonnay Fabrizio Bianchi, 2007

“Sangiovese Nuances” (minimum 4 people, 60,00 euro per person):

– Poggio Scalette, Chianti Classico, 2015
– Panzanello, Chianti Classico Riserva, 2013
– Castello di Cacchiano, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, 2010

“Luxury Sangiovese Nuances” (minimum 2 people, 120,00 euro per person):

– Poggio Scalette, Chianti Classico, 2015
– Castello Monsanto, Chianti Classico Riserva Il Poggio, 2013
– Castello di Cacchiano, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, 2010
– Castello di Ama, Chianti Classico Riserva, 2007

For all types of wine tastings, each wine will be accompanied by a tapas created by Chef Rocco De Santis according to the characteristics of the wine itself, following any intolerance, allergy and/or particular food regimen.

Wine tastings are available from Tuesday to Saturday during the following hours, upon request and reservation:

from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm;
from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm;
from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The wine tastings at the Brunelleschi Hotel are led by the Restaurant Manager and Sommelier Alessandro Fè in collaboration with the Sommelier Lorenzo Paoli who will accompany you on a unique journey to discover the best wines available in the cellar. The tasting can take place at the Tower Bar or you can let yourself be involved in an exclusive gourmet experience directly at the table at the 2 Michelin Star Santa Elisabetta Restaurant. During lunch or dinner, the Sommelier will guide you to discover the wine path combined with the tasting menu, presenting you in detail each wine paired with the different courses and will be at your complete disposal for any questions.
