San Lorenzo was developed through the years thanks to the precious contribution of some of the most important artists like Brunelleschi, Michelangelo and Donatello.

SAN MINIATO AL MONTE

San Miniato al Monte is one of the most incredible and scenic churches of Florence thanks to its incredible position: this church is located in one of the highest point of the city and gives you a wonderful view over Florence.

Santa Croce is a basilica not too far from Piazza del Duomo and is the burial place of some of the most important personalities of the history of Italy, like the artist Michelangelo, the poet Ugo Foscolo, the scientist Galileo Galilei and the composer Gioachino Rossini.

The Basilica of Santa Croce is a very important church not only for Florence but for the whole world, because it is the biggest Franciscan church ever built. The most beautiful parts are the sixteen chapels: most of them are decorated with Giotto’s frescoes.
